Malaysians are urged to line the streets as hearses pass by

Minister of Deputy Communications and Multimedia Datuk Jailani Johari said that Malaysians are urged to line the street where the hearses carrying the bodies of MH17 victims.

The hearses will start the journey from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

The public will be strictly prohibited to enter the Bunga Raya Complex where the military leading the tribute ceremony in receiving the bodies from the Netherlands.

Jailani stated that only selected VIPs, next-of-kin and official media would join the ceremony. Also the bodies would be distributed to different areas for the funerals after the ceremony, which include the KLIA mosque for Muslims victims. 

Prime Minister of Malaysia Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said that a morning day would be declared by the government when the bodies returned home.

AIA Berhad indicated that special limitations or exclusions for death as a result of terrorism and war in insurance policies will be waived for MH17 victims.

Chief executive of AIA Bill Lisle believed that the company did the right thing for their customers and it would definitely help those concerned.
