Malaysia received black box from Ukrainian rebels

Malaysia received two black boxes of MH17 from Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) yesterday in Ukraine.

At the press conference, DPR leader Alexander Borodai thanked Malaysia and Netherlands officials who sent the team for solving the MH17 issues.

Borodai said that they thanked Malaysia and Netherlands team coming here without assistance or protection from Ukrainian government.

Witnessed by the press on the spot, both DPR and Malaysian officials signed several documents.

DPR official showed the black boxes from a white pack.

The black boxes will be investigated by Malaysia officials.

The member of the National Security Council Kol Mohd Shukri thanked Borodai for handing over the boxes back to Malaysia.

Shukri stated that he would like to appreciate Borodai who gave them such opportunity to send the black boxes back to Malaysia because this property belonged to Malaysia.

“The teams from Malaysia would also be sent to the the site where the crash happened”, he added.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Ukrainian rebels reached an agreement to place the black boxes in the custody and allow Malaysia officials to examine the the crash site of MH17.
