Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie wed on Saturday in France

The super couples in Hollywood, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were married Saturday in France. The celebrity news outlet confirmed the news.

The couple’s six children attended the low profile ceremony at Chateau Miraval in the French village of Correns, where the couple have had a home for several years.

Earlier this year, Jolie and Pitt were not really in a rush to get married. They had been waiting for the right time with their children and work, when it felt right.

Last year, Jolie disclosed that she had had a double mastectomy to lower the high risk of breast cancer.

The couple fell in love after filming¬†“Mr & Mrs Smith” in 2005 who became the attention under the world media.

Jolie married twice and divorced before Saturday’s wedding to the 50-year-old Pitt – took home an Oscar for best supporting actress for her portrayal of a rebellious woman in a mental institution in 1999’s “Girl, Interrupted.”

Pitt got his big break more than 20 years ago with a much-talked-about shirtless eye-candy role in the hit movie “Thelma and Louise” – as the two-bit thief who seduces Geena Davis.

He has received three Oscar nominations for his acting, and this year took home an Academy Award as one of the producers of best picture “12 Years a Slave”.

Pitt was previously married to “Friends” star Jennifer Aniston. Jolie was married to actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.

The pair are filming “By the Sea”, slated for release next year.

Their children are Maddox, 13; Pax, 11; Zahara, 9; Shiloh, 8; and 6-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

Jolie stated they have gone through so much. They’ve gotten a closer. It’s time to raise a family together.

“You have this person you live with who really knows you, and you know them so well. You’re not lovers or boyfriend and girlfriend as much as you are a family,” she added.
