Sweet, spicy, sour, irresistible (DROOLING…)
Rojak, which is a Malay traditional food with vegetable and fruits. The word, Rojak is Malay, meaning mixture.
Are you one of the JOHORIANS? No matter you are Chinese, Malay or Indians, you must LOVE this Malay dish!
The editor hasn’t been eating ROJAK for 3 years because of studying abroad! Ans she is EAGER to eat lots of Malaysia local food!
Her ROJAK dish (her personal taste) must contain hard boiled eggs, bean sprouts, tofu, cucumber, peanut, You Zha Gui, peanut powder sprinkled over the dish and the MUST-EAT sauce: spicy & sweet chilli sauce!!!
At last, with an effort, she found a MUST-TRY ROJAK STALL in JOHOR BAHRU! Here we have:
PENANG ROJAK on MOTORBIKE in JOHOR BAHRU (槟城啰惹)
This Rojak man came from Penang to Johor Bahru since 20 years ago. And fans around JB! His stall is along Jalan Maju next to Plaza Pelangi. Some would eat and stand by his stall or buy the take-away. Such a simple dish actually comes from his secrets: every morning, he has to ensure that the fruits are all fresh and juicy or else, he won’t sell.
The key is the sauce, which seems hot melted cheese but it’s very thick.
Penang Rojak Buah Mobile stall
Along Jalan Maju nect to Plaza Pelangi in Taman Maju Jaya (the Rojak man moves his mobile stall around in different locations and pasar malam)

C’mon, just share your best rojak in Johor Bahru with me! I WANT ROJAK!!!! (SO EAGERLY!!!)
